I have developed a trend trading set up (by reading some material and making some changes to the set up). Its basically a trend trading set up, trading extreme pull backs in strong up trend and rally sell off in strong down trend.
The rules for LONG SET UP are as follows.
1) 20 SMA > 50 SMA > 200 SMA
2) DMI + > DMI-
3) RSI 2 (instead of 14) less than 10 (10 being oversold, instead of 30).
The rules for SHORT SET UP are as follows:
1) 20 SMA < 50 SMA < 200 SMA
2) DMI - > DMI+
3) RSI 2 (instead of 14) greater than 90 (90 being overbought, instead of 14)
The candle/bar at which above three conditions are satisfied (long/short) initiate the trade.
I have a amibroker which i have bought recently. I do not know anything about AFL. I am reading its help book also but I think it will take too long time for me in a position to write the desired AFL.
I request help from amibroker experts. I want to make an AFL which scans only index futures and stock futures in live market on 60 minute time frame chart and give the list which satisfy above conditions with buy/sell along with DMI+,DMI-,ADX & RSI 2 values in a separate live scanner/watch list.
I know there are many learned and respected members here so again requesting them to help me.
