Unable to import getbhavcopy to Amibroker

Hi,

I am new to Amibroker and today I have installed the applications. I am trying to follow the import option to import getbhavcopy.

I have followed the steps given at

After I download the getbhavcopy and then go to import ASCII and chose the file it gives error. The error log shows:

Logging started for 'C:\getbhavcopy\NSE\2010-07-23-NSE-EQ.txt' file, using format definition file 'Formats\default.format'
Error in line 3IINFOTECH,20100723,66.8,67.25,65.5,65.7,1538984,747959
Invalid date format/value


From the above log I see that the date format is invalid. However, when I checked in the format it is correct. Can anyone help me?

You should not use the default.format. You should use the new file that you created with the following entries as mentioned in the link.

$FORMAT Ticker,Date_YMD,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume,OpenInt
$SKIPLINES 0
$SEPARATOR ,
$DEBUG 1
$BREAKONERR 1
$AUTOADD 1
