How to Trim bad ticks??

Guys

I get lots of bad ticks, negative ticks, Volume as price ticks etc.

Help me how to get away from that

When i searched library, I got this

But when i tried it, i cud not succeed to get proper data

Go to Quote Editor in 'Symbols' menu and edit each quote. If you have lot of wrong ticks for a particular day or a specific symbol, reload the data once again, making sure that the new data is clean. If you want to delete the quote and not correct it then use quote editor and delete the bad ticks.

I am talking about getting bad ticks in RT mode. I use Geojit FLIP software and use it to import RT data into Ami via Excel

Every time i get a bad tick, i need to shutdown the connection and then wait for some time and then delete the bad ticks and then reconnect again. During the period when connection is not there, data is lost as well.

This happens atleast 10 to 15 times a day which makes life difficult.

I get values in negative and values in lakhs and this makes the chart non-readable.

Hi,

I do not know what the problem could be. If it is the datafeed, then there is no solution except from the data provider. If you can experiment with another data feed you may be able to identify the problem.

Yeah that is indeed data feed problem

I tried this couple of times but in vain....there is some settings to be done, which i cud not understand...some replacement of arrays etc...if u can just go thru this link and give me an understanding, that wud be more than enough
