Automated Ascii Import to Amibroker

Ami helpers

Right now i save the data from my broker tool in CSV format and then go to Ami to import that data into ami using defined Format file.

My query is how to get this automated using DDE or something?? Like making the Ami to import every 1 min or so?

I referred the relevant pages of DDE in ami site. Since iam zero in programming, i cud not make out head or tail of it.

The format file has these commands

$DATE_YMD 2009-10-30
$FORMAT Time, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume
$SKIPLINES 0
$SEPARATOR ", "

What do u mean by recent database?? whats ur reqmt?

I have seen others threads in this forum also where people trying to do the same of what you are trying to achieve.
You will have to search the forum with keywords like DDE, or excel and metastock, etc

The first one is a different one from my reqmt.

The second link which i have already seen...it has so many links (as if a puzzle) and leads nowhere.
