How to assign Index catagory to NSENIFTY symbol?

Dear all,
This is my first post in this forum. I'm a new amibroker user.
I've downloaded NSE data for 2009 for all symbol.
In my symbol list I see NSENIFTY,NSEMIDCAP and other indices as symbols just like ACC,DlF etc.
But as these should appear as index in my Database so I'm trying to assign these Index category.
Because for some exploration and comparison we do need Indexes with a carot (^) sign.
So kindly guide me for the same. How can i do that.

you need not have the ^ sign. instead go the symbol window and change the option "is index"
