Default Importing data in a different market

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me how to import a different data set of a different market in Amibroker

I am already maintaining NSE Cash scrips in Amibroker in one market, I would like to import Futures data too in Amibroker But under a different market.

Can anybody tell me the steps to configure the Import Wizard?

Thanks,

AceX

Dear AceX,

Unfortunately, there is no scope for adding Market while using ASCII Import Wizard but you can certainly achieve this functionality by editing the XXXX.FORMAT file created by AmiBroker ASCII Import Wizard. You may add a line starting with command $MARKET followed by argument no. for Market. e.g. if your new market is XYZ (and if you have renamed 2nd folder under Market tab as XYZ), the complete statement will be :

$MARKET 1

Argument is 1 because count starts from zero.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

AmiBroker-India
