Please check the appropriate threads under the Software/ AMibroker sectio. Also check the thread Experiments in TA... There are various afls available on the Amibroker site too.

If you are looking for HOLY GRAIL, I am afraid there is none. You can choose and trading strategy / afl, there are bound to losses. So, you need to adopt a strategy suitable to your trading style/ psychology.

Cheers,
Kapil

that is wat i am asking for, there are so many afl in the forum that i got confused.i am looking for some of the best afls that the senior members are using or recommend to use.....plz post only those afls which are the best from the rest.

i need them for intraday trading so the main points will be:
1. if it can give buy and sell signal
2. if it can alert to square off if there is a certain crash in the market
3. if it can scan and recommend that which stock is benifical for trading
etc

1. Producing buy/sell signals is a trivial task. IMHO, it is not the which function to use to give buy/sell signals, rather the function that portends such signal(s) is what you are looking for. Unfortunately, no one, who has some such afl, will ever give it out in public domain on a platter. You have to find one for yourself that suits you.

2. how do you define a contingency?

3. what is your definition of 'beneficial'?

If you know exactly what you are looking for it'll be easier to discuss further.

Hi,

Do u think u will find afls that give good returns in public forums like this. If so everyone is rich by now and u won't find many members here. But there are some great souls here who shared their winning strategies here. Have a nice research through various threads. At best u can find a winning system or the corner stones of ur own system.
Even if u find an accurate system, it is difficult to make money out of it. I mean the psychological aspects of trading.

Regards

The AFLs that have been posted at various places are or have been used by various serious members. Now, IMHO the senior members would be using different afls as everybody has a different mind and hence an afl that might be very good for me could be junk for you.

So you should try different afls and paper trade. Then decide which one suits you. There cannot a readymade recipe for success. You already have such a huge help in the form of the posts/afls posted by people. This much effort would have to be put in by you and you only.

I repeat what could be an excellent piece of trading strategy could be junk for another. So find out yourself what suits you best and decide..

Cheers,
Kapil
