Have you read my post just above yours ? It has exactly given what you have asked for, a free source for downloading EOD and Index data from NSE and links to various such sources developed by our very own traderji members.

and.... if you don't mind, please use one colour, font and font size for writing your posts. If you can use default settings, its better. All 3 of your posts are in different colours, different fonts and different font sizes.... its really very difficult to read such posts besides giving an amateur kind of look to the post... If you are doing this to catch attention, its more likely that you are hitting right on your own foot by following these things. I hope you take this suggestion in correct spirit.

Regards,

Abhay

Unfortunately, this is how it works. Everyday, you will have to import the text data. And sorry for information given in my previous post regarding automatic updation. It actually happens for realtime data in Amibroker. I have corrected my post.

Abhay

Dear Ranjit jee,
As you already know, this thread was started by me since i am also a beginner. And I am yet to use Amibroker full fledgedly. One of our senior member,Abhay jee is an expert, may be he will be able to answer your query.Even I am yet to learn AFL language specially made for Amibroker, which will enable the software to scan the stocks according to the selected criteria. It will take some time before I can answer any of the queries.Hope you will understand my limitations at present. Thanks for the post.Even I can learn from the questions......best of luck....regards
Manas

Please stop kidding.... I am no where close to be called as expert.... yes, I use Amibroker and hence I check this thread in order to give back to this community wherever and whatever I can....

and.... please drop that "jee" part... only 'abhay' is just fine...

Regarding the query, I have already answered. Please go through the entire user guide of Amibroker, then their AFL section on their website.... then there are many blogs which are devoted for Amibroker fans where lots of information is posted.... even traderji has a full fledged section on Amibroker at http://www.traderji.com/amibroker/ ... Go through thread by BVPRAVEEN at http://www.traderji.com/amibroker/93...ions-more.html where links to related information regarding Amibroker is given.... Adheer is one such member who has in depth knowledge of Amibroker....

Regards,

Abhay
