I have difficulty in downloading watchlists to amibroker. In my database I could not find watchlist directory. Though in the database i have created maually two watchlists.
I know there could be something wrong on my part because I am not very good with these things.
I request you to explain in detail procedure. My difficulty is that i could not find watchlist directory in database to import watchlist.zip file.
Sorry to disturb.
Mohan
Were you able to identify your AmiBroker database directory ?
The simplest way to do this is to start AmiBroker, load your database and then select File (Menu) -> Database Settings ...
The Database path is displayed under General : Database Folder box.
Once you get this path, navigate to this path using Windows Explorer. It should have a sub-directory called WatchLists.
You should download and unzip the Watchlist contents in this folder.

Halo
Thank you Adheer for your quick reply. My database path is F:\Sharedata\Nse Securities1. But in search & exploration I could not see watchlist subdirectory. Should I create one there. Please guide me.

Yes, you can create a WatchLists directory, or,
Using AmiBroker, you can create a sample WatchList, which in automatically create the WatchLists directory.

If you are using Scan or Back-Test mode to identify whether specific triggers (signals) have occurred, then you need to use the Buy/Sell signals in the AFL.
If you simply intend to find stocks that match a specific criteria, then you can use the Explore feature and specify the Filter Criteria.

e.g. Scan / Back-Test
Code:
buy = cross( macd(), 0 );
sell = cross( 0, macd() );
To Explore using a specific criteria,
Code:
Filter = cross( macd(), 0 );
