Hello majnnuu,
Welcome to AmiBroker. 1) Can you provide me with a screenshot of your AmiBroker - that way it will be easier to understand the problem. 2) Did you download the NSE format WatchLists or the *****! format watchlists ? 3) Remember that AmiBroker will display only those symbols in the watchlists that you already have in database. For example, if a watchlist contains Reliance Communications (symbol SBIN), but SBIN is not present in your database, then it will not be displayed in the watchlist. Therefore, make sure that the symbols are in your database. You can do this via the menu Symbols -> New. E.g If you are using *****! format, symbol for RCOM will be RCOM.NS If you are using NSE format, then it is RCOM (no .NS at the end). Let me know Regards, Adheer |

There are many tools available for free / shareware that allow you to automatically build-up NSE and BSE database of stocks.
If you search the AmiBroker and EOD forums, you will find references to these tools. Also, many users have also uploaded NSE/BSE databases for AmiBroker. You can download and install it. From that point onwards, you only have to keep you database up-to-date. Regards, Adheer. |

Quote:
2. Open the Database folder in Windows Explorer (or DOS Command ) 3. Create a new directory WatchLists in the database folder 4. Unizp and copy the watchlist files (*.tls) into this directory. 5. Start AmiBroker. The watchlists will be automatically loaded. 6. Ensure that the symbols in the watchlists exist in your database. AmiBroker will display only those symbols that exist in its database inside the watchlists. |

If you don't have a watchlists folder in amibroker, chances are that you are using an 4.xx version. The concept of watchlist folder was introduced in v5.0 of amibroker.
If you are now tempted to upgrade to v5.0 of the software, please buy the original software. 'coz the patch for v5.0 available on the internet (by ICU) contains a TROJAN HORSE! |
