Help needed in configuring Amibroker with Stocksup EOD data

i need help in importing Stocksup EOD data into Amibroker. also is there a simple way of classifying data imported into BSE (group-wise) / NSE/ Commodities / ...

Use amiquote utility from amibroker. If you do not have it, download it from amibroker website. Amiquote will understand yahoo symbols. So create a *.tls file which will have the Nse symbols in yahoo format. It would look like this. (e.g SRF in NSE would be SRF.NS in yahoo).

After this, check the box in amiquote where automatic import is listed. Then start downloading. After it downloads, it will push it to amibroker database and from where you can view your charts.

For clasisfying/grouping, i remember someone explained very clearly here. do a search and you will find it out.

1. If the EOD data format is ASCII, you can easily import it into Amibroker.

Export the data from Amibroker as ASCII format. I hope Metastock accepts ASCII format data for importing.
