yeah, it does slowdown, its the nature of the DDE plugin, but then it slows more with version 5.3

works in windows 7?

I tried as suggested by you.It has worked partially.I have been able to fetch data for one symbol from 7/2008 to 12/2008 only.

I did not encounter this problem last time.What Am I missing?

run it in xp comptability mode in Win 7 , it should work like charm

can you help me by taking my pc on team viewer in installing the plugin everything is ok when i installed but charts are not showing on amibroker

i installed the plugin correctly, meaning i am able to see rate server down at the lower right in the taskbar, the ExportFB EA has a smiley face but connect status in ami is showing in yellow WAIT status no matter how many times i double click it it is stuck on yellow WAIT.

how to make it show GREEN and load data into amibroker?

I also got this working, does anyone know what the data count feature of Rateserver means? There's different selections from 5, 10, 500, 1000. I've tried different settings and can't be sure what the difference is.

It defines the number of bars to backfill at once. Set it to 10 if your data is in-line with metatrader's one. If there is data missing in AB then set it to 500 or 1000 to backfill data faster. after backfill is finished set it back to 10.
