I have used RCRT robo, but am not happy with their service. They dont help in any clarifications nor give any proper demo. they show it once and if you ask the same question again they say that they are very busy. I have not tried their AFL since i was told that its not ready yet for sale.I wanted help with another afl they denied the same.

Service orientation is pathetic...dont pick up calls and no responses on gtalk or messages.
There are several ROBO traders which have been around for a couple of years now. Seen a few: RCRT Robo, VBIZ. In and RoboTrader. in have almost the same software.

Got a demo today, unfortunately, the software had some malware included wherein my computer could be controlled remotely. This is very risky especially when using usernames/passwords on the system.

Does anyone have a reliable ROBO trader without payment of fees etc. or is there a shareware under development at sourceforge .net or github ?

Kindly post, else interested persons could come together for the same.

There are many developers here who are traders as well:

How about working on a piece of software which can place orders in Zerodha KITE (web based) (using FULL Automation ..i.e no manual intervention, except the 1st dummy order for the 1st transaction of the day) from Amibroker AFL generated signals:

1. Kite connects to Amibroker ver 6 via HTML5 technology for feeds :thumb:
2. Amibroker has its own AFL (Amibroker Formula Language) generating buy/sell signals.:thumb:
3. The Buy/Sell orders are placed into Zerodha's KITE automatically (web login would already be done) from Amibroker as and when signals are generated. :thumb:

I have talked to Vbiz folks. Their plug-in uses AmiBrokerFor Dotnet. And even though they are selling their Robot they dont have license of AmiBrokerFor Dotnet. With free edition the plug-in will hangs every 4 to 5 hours and needs to be re-initiated. This defeats the whole purpose of Robot. I was even ready to buy Amibroker for dotnet standard edition however the lady on the phone was not able to understand bulk of my basic questions so decided to give up.

Another drawback with VBiz is they only read Buy and Sell Signals that means the strategy is "Always in". I specifically asked the lady on support that my strategy is not "Always-in" so I need robo to read my Buy, Sell and Short, Cover variables however either she was not aware or their Robo doesn't have this basic Feature.

rcrt Robot - Currently I am taking trial of rcrt Robo. And so far it is good. It doesn't appear to be a proper company like vBiz, it appears one individual is managing the entire show however I am getting much better support from rcrt than what I got from VBiz. Besides the product looks really well built and Robust. Plug-in is directly built on top of Amibroker SDK using C/C++. I have used it for 2 days as of now (Paper Trading) and I am happy with the outcome so far.

Besides the front end of Robo has some really good features like setting up quantity for each script, setting up Trailing SL by points or % for each script. Setting up Tgt1 and Tgt2 etc. It made most of my trailing SL code in AFL obsolete.

The only drawback so far I see it is AB version. I have a licensed copy of Amibroker 6.10 64 bit and rcrt robo plug-in is not compatible with that version and not even any 64 bit version. I have to go back all they way to Amobroker 5.7 32 bit by uninstalling my licensed version. After asking he doesn't seem to have any plans to support newer and 64 bit versions of Amibroker in the near future. But I guess eventually he will have to catch up. Except this issue It's working fine and as expected. Support is good and he is available round the clock, I have tried even at 10 in the night (I only do commodities) and he was available to whatsapp text and call.

I am going to Paper trade next entire week and if it works as expected across the week I am going to start live trade with small quantities for another week before going full blown.

So to conclude rcrt Robo looks better than other couple of options I had seen

Happy Trading
Ganesh

I used couple of robo providers. I trade in commodity. Most of them have full set up for autotrading, but does not have proper strategy. Can any one can share strategy for crude oil or any other commodity. My requirement is Rs 2000 per day. 20 points in crude or some other commodities.

That would be great would like to work with you, if you think of developing one.

It seems that there is no need to develop one separately .. there is already many available online, one had to find it and use it.

The below has the info for Amibroker placement of orders into Nest3.
snip2code dot com /Snippet/230129/Manual-Button-Trading-in-Amibroker

The only thing left is to place the order directly once the buy signal or sell signal is generated.

Will be working on that in the coming week.. although I dont think its as simple as I mentioned :thumb:

Who was this vendor? I just paid 1 month subscription to realsenseindia.com but when they tried to download their software (via anydesk), none of my browsers were opening their link, & one browser that did open the link blocked the download/file saying that it's dangerous, & didn't even offer a choice to download. Not sure if this is false-positive or if they are really trying to put something malicious on their customers' machines. I was using a virtual machine to test their software, so I'm relatively safe but still, it's a bit scary to think about.
