Difficulty in Executing Trades_ Need Help

#1
Dear fellow traders,

I have been an investor since long and doing very well. I know T.A. well. I have started day-trading since last 3 months. I paper traded first and it went well.

Now though all my trading plans are done well, I have HUGE problems in execution of those plans. As usual, even though the price reaches the buy/sell level, I don't enter, I book profits early etc. Can you please give me tips on how to overcome these problems?

i will simply say tht ur system whatever ur using is still the suspected system for u.

U start believing in it if at all it had given u the desired results.

Take all the care while designing the trading system then after finishing it.
give it the finishing touch by paper trading and once the system passed all these things and u see the desired returns from it then just forget tht u have any brain or mind left in u.
Just act to the system.

this is the only solution to ur problem.

And remember one thing.

u can never always catch rock bottoms and dead high. or whole of the trend.

If u push urself to achieve this u will surely ruin ur thought process.

Take care and trade well....
be fearless.....
after 6 years of intraday trading even i face this issue sometime.
controlling mind is the hardest thing.

Hello,

Ur problem is not New...it happens for everyone who do paper trading...that's why i will not prefer/recommend paper trading....in paper trading realtime emotions and psychological problems are not involved.

point wise Solution to ur problem....

1)Divide ur total Capital or Equity by 4 or 5..
2)then use this capital as ur fresh Equity...
3)Don't risk more than 1% of ur new equity....start with Small risk.
4)write down ur Trading plan..and try to implement it...remember one thing in this process ....ur fighting with ur innerself.which is very hard thing to do....
....don't get disappointed if u loose ur New equity.....repeat this until u get control over ur emotions.
5)do daily debrief of ur trade management.

There are plenty of youtube videos for traders to build a strong Trading mentality watch some of'em.

Regards,
