Intraday Setup - Open/High/Low breakout pattern - No Charts, Just excel

For this Strategy...
I use open = low and open = high in 5 mins candles. If the first candle high or low is broken by the second 5 min, enter on the third 5 min candle open. Keep 1% of the script value as target.and ist candle low or high as sl. if the second candle doesnt break enter on the breaking of high or low of the first candle .. . backtested and working fine

I think, u r completely stick to Open =high or open = low.. but this does not happens each time. it fluctuate by some poits, as script open at 225 and then make low of 224.5 in few minutes. so what to do in this case

hey Guys,,

Sorry for the long wait,Please find below the link to download the excel sheet. There are two systems

Strategy 1. Yesterday's high low breakout system WITHOUT Open=High=Low condition

Strategy 2. Yesterday's high low breakout system WITH Open=High=Low condition

You can use the system that you want.

Excel sheet has 3 sheets.
Sheet 1 - System - Here you will see the real time position of your stocks
Sheet 2 - Yesterday's value - you need to paste the open, high, low, close of yesterday's values
Sheet 3 - rt data - add the list of stocks in your NOW/NEST terminal and copy it to this sheet. so that you can get the buy/sell signals.

Strategy 2

Here's the snap shot

Above mentioned two excel files are not updating...
Anyone have the working files...

I have a excel sheet which takes real time data from nest and value will be updating every second and I have written formula to provide buy and sell signal when conditions are met.
So I dont need to manually monitor each stock.

I did not get ur second question, can u pls explain ?

*****
can you provide that sheet please ?

Hi, i have been trying to finalize an intraday strategy which enables me to place the trade in teh first half an hour of the day. After loosing a lot of money i finalized exactly what you have mentioned in your first post. By sheer chance i stumbled upon your posting after i had finalized my strategy. Had i seen your post earlier, i would have saved some money:lol:.

I am now using excel which i have prepared with TRUEDATA supplying the data, and it is working fine. I always trade in the direction of nifty which is shown in the excel sheet. Whenever i get a near previous day high with Open = Low or near previous day low signal with Open = High, i open the chart and as soon as a one minute candle closes above the previous days high or a one minute candle closes below the previous days low, i place the trade. Truedata is also working fine as it updates every couple of seconds.

I was trying to post the image here but it says file size exceeded.

Nice to hear a trader friend finding a path out of losses

Can you please write a few words about your system.
Is it possible to share the excel mentioned by you.
If required for it, I can subscribe to truedata.

Thanks :)
