i wanted to know what is the cost of algo trading .

is it based on technicals. is algo trading for small retail traders ?

is it really successful ? whom to contact for the complete set up ?

what does afl mean ? please reply

1.Costing of the software one wanted to use varies from 10 to 15 thousand pm.
2. Yes one can also use algo on technical basis. Today there are many brokers providing plugins/software for the same.
3.Yes it is successful many traders are doing. You should contact Zerodha,symphony,omnesys etc..
4.Afl is the language in which you make a strategy for the Amibroker software.

In the software platform that I've written, you can start with low amounts. Although, its not a minimum, you can also start with 10K. With a good strategy, you can expect 15-20% ROI per month.

can you give some trade you have done.

bakwas algo trading...dnt do algo trading until your vendor does not give lightning speed of execution of trades from any charting platform to your trading terminal...EXECUTION SPEED IS MOST IMPORTANT IN ALGO TRADING..

You can contact Omnesys Technologies they have arbitrage strategy called hit to hit or future to future. I have traded in cash to future as arbitrage as well future to future in f&o segment. But i dont know that this facility is available in Ncdex you can get information from their site.

check with zerodha broker they have the package just 1300/ month FOR RETAIL TRADER

So true...Algo trading is very expensive in India at present. I am doing it with one of the vendor and paying more than 2 lakhs a year just as license fee let alone the fees i am paying them to make custom algos for me.
