Survey: Nifty Options Strategy (Daily/Weekly)

#1
'Sup Fellow Traders!!
I have just started trading in Nifty Options and I think there is real potential here to at the least quadruple our returns if we can find a strategy that works.

Right now I only trade on a positional basis. So most of the times I am buying next month options.

I was just wondering, whether there was a working strategy that any of you seniors were using to trade Index options (preferable Nifty) on a daily/weekly basis and could share it with us (would be a huge favor).

Please, the strategy should be a regular income generator and not a one time event. e.g., Nifty broke support of 5900, Buy Puts.

I am a big fan of indicators and I use them in every trade that I enter. So if you have anything with indicators, please do drop in a few words.

And one more thing that I would like you to consider, that please keep the trade duration to less than a week, or maybe a week. Sure, daily trades is all I want, but any strategy will do.

I am compiling the results of a simple strangle on Nifty from 2005-2006 until now, but as I have a salaried job, I cannot give time to these studies during office hours.

So please share anything you can to help out novice traders like me. By novice I mean that I am a newbie as far as Options are concerned.

Peace Out.

"I think there is real potential here to at the least quadruple our returns if we can find a strategy that works." ..having a profitable strategy is only the begining of a long hard journey, this is no get rich quick scheme. Stop looking for strategies and work on basics first if you want to earn through trading, otherwise you will just jump from one strategy to other.

Dear Biggbullinside

Would you mind to pay money to the person who invest time for the questions you have?

As you work in an office, you earn money during the time you do your job. Now you ask others to do work for you for free and to serve your questions on a silver tablet, so you then can make money with that with out having to pay any money to them. Do you like to work for free in your office???

Do you think that is the way to become a trader?

Read through option threads by your self to get at least a basic idea about what option trading is.
