Short Selling

#1
I am new to this forum, i have a general question. I am into trading for the last couple of years. I have tried sharekhan, indiainfoline and some other brokers. For all the brokers, for any particular day if i want to short a stock, then it is compulsory for me to buy back at the end of the day..

Is there any broker who allows to hold on to the shorts for a couple of days and then square off. Alternatively does the brokers i mentioned above allow this through some special conditions ?

as i said earlier, i am new to this forum and looking forward to expert advice.

Hi Dirak,
I don't think so....As far as i know it is not allowed in our country...If one wants to sell short and carry forward the position Futures is the only option available..
Happy trading,

You can if your broker permits SLB.
