please upload the data on 4shared and post the link...

next week end... objective is to find ways to add on to positions and make hay while sun shines...
Dear Linkon ji,

I am having data only from 2010-09-14.
I have uploaded it.

Just visually scanned Linkon's AFL on some old 5 min Nifty data that I have. Looks like the crossover of EMA(H,3) & EMA(L,3) over the red 820 ema line itself is a profitable system.

For the period that I checked, it gave entries that held on for days together, most of the entries on the long side gave profits of over 100 points.

I do not mean to break the flow of the thread, but perhaps this is a more profitable system. Note that I have not checked with recent data, so I may be wrong.

There is no hard and fast rule about which ema one should follow... idea is to trade a very short term ma crossover on eod... i prefer 5 ma... reduced to 1 min chart.... you can follow what ever you feel comfortable...

Don't worry about flow of the thread... its just a discussion on cross over and i invite all views. Thats the only way of bringing new ideas on the table...
