In persuit of financial independence.
In the video, TD is seen stressing on comparing with close of 6th. Close of 7th/8th is not stressed and also in example shown in video 8th close is out of sync.
Please comment when free.

Thanks
Close of 8 is not relevant in either 9vs6 setup and in perfection of a setup.
In 9vs6 its the lows of 6 and 9 that are compared.
For perfection in a buy setup low of 8 or 9 should be lower than low of both 6 and 7. Its only useful if you intend to trade setups as standalone as per Perl's perfection criteria.
This perfection is of no importance in countdown.
Last is intersection, which is a prerequisite for countdown: Earliest it can happen is at bar 8 of the setup. Intersection is overlap between 8or9or any further bar with a bar 3or more bars earlier upto bar 1.
So let me put it again, there are 3 things:
1.9vs6 setup-used as standalone trade setup
2.Perfection-used if setups are traded standalone (without cd)
3.Intersection-Mandatory to start countdown (liberal in indices)
Hope it clears.

Using HTF to trade the trend:
Close of bar 1 is a good entry as per pivot method, but as strong uptrend waited for another lower bar 2.
Trade is live, so hope to see if Low 9 < low of 6 and see a temp bottom.

Didn't number the uptrend but the top bar (highest high) was on count 8. (previous bar to #1)

Following up on the post 576,
the image says it all :D TSL would've been taken out
Some form of brakes being applied.

Note: Bar 9 was in progress in earlier post and this one shows its proper close.
That would be an ideal point to book profits and look to re-enter depending on whether its a PB or a clear Rev.

Enter long above high of Reversal bar (or wait for one more bar) and short on close below 9th bar low.
