Thanks to ST for taking all the trouble. Wish you a speedy recovery.

We are clear now on sell setup SIPS
1. Sequential (9) counting - close higher than prev 4 bars close
2. Intersection - low less/equal to prev 3 bar from 8,9+
3. Perfect setup - 8,9+ - high higher prev 2 bar high 6,7-
4. Countdown - close higher than high 2 days earlier

Travi/vivek,

Is there anything else left on this one other than the cancellation for TD sequential/countdown.?

5. Cancellation:
A. Setup cancellation:
TD Buy cancelled if 9 bar sequence broken
TD Sell cancelled if 9 bar sequence broken
OR
NEW TD SETUP formed.

B. Countdown cancellation:
TD BUY CD:
Condition 1: If the TDST (setup bar 1 high ) breached by any CD bar high
Condition 2: NEW TD SETUP formed.

TD Sell CD:
Condition 1: If the TDST (setup bar 1 low ) breached by any CD bar low
Condition 2: NEW TD SETUP formed.

For Buy Countdown, the condition is close is less than equal to low of two bars earlier.

If the count down is not continuous, then should the previous second bar be part of the countdown or just the immediate previous second bar?

example: when countdown is not continuous, that is if there are bars between CD3 and CD4 not taking part of countdown then, should close of CD4 be less than equal to low of CD2 or just the immediate previous second bar (which is not part of countdown) before CD4.

Thanks

Some more rules hunted after rereading...
Certain scenarios/conditions/qualifiers:
Example taken is a completed ‘BUY SETUP’

2.after completion of buy setup, countdown starts, but before completion of CD13, a new buy setup is completed:
Latest buy setup is to be considered.
CD will have to start all over again

3. The low of CD 13 must be less than or equal to close of CD8 to complete the countdown, till this additional condition is met CD13 is postponed.

Mirror for Sell Setup
ST posts

Once the 9 min setup bars are done, the set up does not end there...it continues till we get a flip bar and the length of the set up is from low to high of the bar sequence which followed the relationship.

===>

What u guys understand by sts statement. Is the first flip a set up here now?? That sounds more convincing. as 9 and 13 appears to me as just numbers Some kind of flip at a known resistance after an extended move would that be a good entry?.
