Do Gartleys and Butterflys not work on Nifty Futures ?

Hi Traders,

I happened to learn 2 chart patterns namely Gartley and Butterfly which apparently have a high success rate in the forex market. I happened to find a text book formation of both Bullish Gartley and Butterfly on Nifty Futures but it did not work. So the question is do these patterns not work on the Indian index futures namely nifty and indian stocks in general ?
