Advanced GET and MetaStock File Format
Advanced GET has the ability to read data from Premium Data and Data Tools and Premium Forex using a "metastock file library" called MSFLxxx.DLL. Advanced GET has an inbuilt Computrac/MetaStock format decoder but this does not read in the current MetaStock format correctly - you need the DLL instead. Advanced GET 7.5 Builds 83 through 135 require MSFL651.dll Advanced GET 7.5 Build 136 and above can use either MSFL651.DLL or MSFL70.DLL If you have Windows 98 or Windows ME, it must be located in the C:\Windows\System folder. For Windows NT or Windows 2000, it must be located in the C:\WinNT\System32 folder. If you have Windows XP it must be located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. The file MSFL651.DLL is supplied with Metastock v6.52. When you install MetaStock it places the DLL files in the system folder automatically. At this point in time, we do not know where MSFL651.DLL can be legally found on the Internet if you do not own Metastock v6.52. We recommend you upgrade to Advanced GET v7.8 build 420 or above. |
