Starting out with AdvancedGet is pretty expensive.It is known for Elliott Wave Analysis which is in itself a very exhausting and advanced subject.
Start by trying different software available for trial on the net before making a huge investment.Try Amibroker

Help on metastock
I have converted the nse bhavcopy to metastock format.But how can one update the database of securities using the data.I am having data till 5th.If I want to update the 6th august nse bavcopy to metastock waht shold I do?

One day it shows a trended move as 3, and then it shows it as a correction (a-b-c) and then again after a week the same wave becomes wave 3 again. I gave up on this software after many attempts. (Probably did not suit my temperment).
