sorry renu, sometimes i had problem to understand you...

in effect as said from Raghuveer.rv i was looking for the XTL formula written in some language that i could reply everywhere not symply xtl buy/xtl sell.

so, you said that XTL is based on "moving average /todays data/and stoxhastics" could you explain it better?
you think that is similar to the RMO??? I see some differences in behaviour...

Could explain me better what's behind the XTL?

Thanks again for the RMO formula.

hi

The XTL is a simple but powerful tool that is not complicated to use. If the bars are blue in color, then the trend is up. If the bars are red in color, then the trend is down. When you have a bar turn from its normal color to blue or black, this first signal is called a Break Out Bar. An entry is taken when the bar following the Break Out Bar is the same trend color as the Break Out Bar, and the range exceeds 150% of the Break Out Bar in the direction of the trend. You would place a stop below the low of the Break Out Bar if the trend is up, and you would place a stop above the high of the Break Out Bar if the trend is down. As the market moves in the direction of the trend, you would use a trailing stop to follow the trend. To find an exit, you can use a variety of exit methods, but we recommend using the Regression Trend Channels or an optimized DMA. Please note that the XTL not a mechanical trading system. The XTL is one of the many studies (methods) available in GET.

sorry renu but i really cannot understand you at all!
maybe my english is the problem?

when i ask you if you have the formula in any language i mean something like that:
100 *
(CLOSE - ((Mov(C,2,S) +
Mov(Mov(C,2,S),2,S) +
Mov(Mov(Mov(C,2,S),2,S),2,S) +
Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(C,2,S),2,S),2,S),2,S) +
Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(C,2,S),2,S),2,S),2,S),2,S) +
Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(Mov(C,2,S),2,S),2,S),2,S),2,S) ,2....... ETC....

not the explanation of XTL use that i know perfectly.

do you kindly have it?????

Smile Re: xtl formula

sorry for the late reply

here is the formula to calculate XTL

Z=mod {(2*n1*n2/N -r) +- C} divided by

{[underoot (2*n1*n2/N)] *[(2*n1*n2)-N]/ (N squre -N)}

C= correction factordepending on # Q runs

example

U DD UU D U DDD UUUU D U D U DD UD UUU DD U DD U DD UU D UU D U D U DD U

HERE

U= when close is above the opening

D= when close is below the opening

now 19 ups 22 downs 27 runs

means r=27, n1=19, n2=22 and N=41

putting these in formula u will get value more then 1.5 means blue bar...

in this case we get 1.63
