Hi,
There has been huge confusion on the Elliott Wave Principle, one mans wave 5 is another mans 3.After a bit of search i found this basic audio visual tutorial on the Wave Principle. You can go thru it at ur own pace. But u will need a Broadband connection. Id be happy to answer any doubts.Strictly related to The Elliott Wave and not outlook on the markets. http://www.elliottwave.com/education...=789&lesson=16 Cheers. |

How could we forget the excellent job done by Traderji himself in this regard? I have purchased Elliott Wave Principle: Key to Market Behaviour by Frost and Prechter and another book from Traderji himself just for Rs. 500/-. Both are excellent. I do not know whether Traderji is having some more copies of these books. Interested members can send a PM to Traderji and ask for copies.

Hi, very good labelling i must say.Its indeed showing that 5 is underway. But ur wave 4 overlaps with wave 1.So we can label this whole move as leading diagonal(present in wave A positions and Wave 1).So ur previous labelling becomes important. Hope this helps. |

Hello all,
I'm following Robert Beckman and I've some doubts in EW. I will ask them one by one. The correction following the 5 motive waves will be of greater amplitude than anything experienced before in the same cycle. So the corrections, Corr = Max(Wave 2, Wave 4). My doubt is whether this correction - Corr, is referred to Wave A or the entire corrective waves Wave A-B-C? Eg. if wave 4 was greater than Wave 2, say 100 points. Then whether Wave A will be 100 points min or the entire corrective waves A-B-C together will be 100points min? I hope the question is clear. Thanks in advance, Praveen. |

Hi,
Are the below properties mandatory in every occurrence or any exceptions are there? 1. Wave 3 is always greater in both time and amplitude than wave 1 and wave 5. Although I think this is mandatory, I think I'd seen some situations(in the book), where these conditions were violated. May be I can be wrong. 2. Wave 4 doesn't retrace below wave 1 top. Thanks, Praveen. |
