Let's just wait it out I'd say. Market's too hot at these levels to enter.
There'd be many good picks once some lower levels are tested in due course.
Keep checking in at the various threads from time to time.
Nice to see you again.
Hi Amit,
I m back with the load of qs.
Whats your view abt entry at this stage in:
Guj NRE
teledata
IDBI
Surya Roshni
CEAT
ESCORT
SRF
Sangam Ind
Shyam Tele
Ing Vysya Bank

I think we can pick them at lower level now. They have been in sideways for long and they may breakout anytime.
Your expert opinion pls.

You could take some off, Roneeth, or at least the investment, and let the rest be for 164 s/l?
It's happening on the news of the nuclear energy agreement with Bush, and details are not clear. In any case it's not going to happen overnight....so yes, some off now may be a good idea.
Greaves Cotton strong too.
Regards.

Narrow sideways price action on flat volume can generally denote a period when a stock is being accumulated without disturbing the price.
The sector is good to be in around and beyond the budget, and if you are in for another quarter or two, buying more at declines would be the way to go I'd say.
It is trading around all time high, and positive news for the sector could push it further, but how much further is not known. It's come up from 190 levels in December to 310 now.
Watch it close for volume increase and some volatility in price over the next couple of days. If you are keen, go in with a small lot if it looks like crossing 316 area and ride it out as long as it goes, with 302-306 stop loss. If it clearly takes out 323-329 it may go further, and if so, we qould assess later.
On declines, for your existing position as of today, supports are at 302-395-288-274 levels, where at evidence of firmness, more could be added. On the other hand, if it slips below 295-288, you may want to exit to keep the profits, and to buy back above those levels or 302. I am suggesting this as there has been no retracement since the climb from 162 end October except sideways consolidation, and somewhere along the line some pullback may happen, though cannot be said with certainty. It's just good to be prepared for movement on either side.
All the best Partha, and do get back when you like. It's no bother at all.
Hi Amit,

KEI seems to have given a breakout , trading at 300 today(intraday). Is it time to add more?

Thanks

Hi Partha...a very difficult question at these levels.
There may or may not be a lot of juice left from here, and you may be cutting into your profits.
The midcaps are not really rocking and unless there is some churning around of money and these catch on, I would just manage what I have.
KEI is up at 320 or so? You have the stop levels if you want to get more.
All the best.

Hi sharv...please do check some previous posts to get levels and buy on declines. The previous highs would now be supports.
The market, look where it's going.
Take care.

Dabur in a possible new move, Joshi.
Either at declines around 107-110-112, or above 118 with 110 or 107 s/l.
