Though this is not his fault. this is the fault of the method he follows,The neely method which is unnessessrily complecating the things. I am a firm beleiver of KISS principle(keep it simple stupid) and therefore follows standard
Elliott wave principle of RN elliott.
Having said that I think the information given above is quite comprehensive and useful and I am looking forward to subscribing to this software packege in future.

lol

Nice one that, and I am all for the KISS principle.

Hi,

I have systematically analysed Elliot's wave theory. I think Indian stock will crash in the month of February 2006 culminating in savage bear market lasting for years. SENSEX may dip eventually below 6000 in three stages. In the first Impule wave we may see the level of 6800 followed by a upward moving corrective wave and then again 3rd impulse wave bringing the index to the level of 6000. BEWARE OF EXTREME DANGER. Budget day on Tuesday 28th February 2006 is very crucial time. Contact me in case of further discussion:

In a bull market you do not need tech. ananlysis, fund. analysis, tips, etc, you simply go out and buy and hold for some time and there is a great likely hood of you making good money provided you know how to sell.
IN SIMPLE WORDS IT IS WHEN YOU SELL THAT COUNTS.

My friend in the elliot wave theory the wave count keeps changing, it never remains constant . Its only in hindsight that some sort of wavecount is approximatley defined that to with a great degree of unsurety.Even elliot, himself, did not know where the wave count begins or where it ends. Simply don't bother about the cycle just enjoy the ride

Information about ASA
ASA (Advanced Stock Analysis) is a comprehensive software for a complete Technical as well as Fundamental analysis of the Indian stock markets. With an installation base of over 600 users all over India & abroad, ASA has now become the benchmark for stock analysis packages.

Largest Data-base of Price Charts
ASA covers stocks listed on BSE and NSE, including Futures/Options. It also covers Euro Issues of Indian companies, prominent commodities, international stock indices, major stocks on Nasdaq & NYSE – totaling over 40000 master counters.

For major stocks on BSE, the price charts cover a period of over 20 years. NSE price charts are from the date of commencement of the exchange.

Some special charts like minute-chart of Sensex & other BSE sector indices, RBI Securities Index (from1946), Currency/Precious Metals, Inflation Rate, FII Net Investment, FI net Investment, etc. are also maintained. ASA team has created more than 250 Industry Indices, Business House Indices, etc., which provide good insights into different sectors and groups.

The new stocks as well as rights \ bonus \ Split adjustments are added automatically. The user is allowed to make his own group of stocks for a focused analysis.

Most Advanced Analysis Techniques
Through macro-programming of user's techniques, ASA achieves the most accurate and instant technical analysis ever possible. There is Auto-Candlestick analyzer which can quickly identify the patterns and give interpretations. The auto-signal option gives you ready-to-use technical buy/sell readings, based on different technical tools, directly showing Buy/Sell arrows like the SAR system.

For traders, ASA RTS/Gravity System, as developed by Vivek Patil, gives you trading levels for the next day/week, in both trending and non-trending situations.

There are very good facilities for saving & modifying your analysis and comments on the chart itself. Once a chart is displayed, there are fast options to zoom into any portion of the chart for a closer look.

The Technical study section has various studies covering Fixed/Variable period Cycles, Fibonacci Numbers, MAVs, Bollinger Bands, Advance-declines, volumes, Retracements with user-defined factors/ratios, Gann angles with Gann scaling, Gann percentages, etc.

Chart can be redrawn on Calendar Mode for better Time studies. Trend-line values can be read for future dates as well.

For Astrologers, ASA provides for marking of Moon Calendar.

For Elliott Wave followers, ASA provides for automatic application of Neely Method of Wave Analysis. Further, the analyst can mark waves in three different styles for indicating different degrees.

Analyst can store his analysis routine into one single key-stroke called a macro. Each user can store his analysis/macros/colors separately, and any number of users can be created within a single package.

Oscillators / Super-oscillators
ASA provides for three categories of Oscillators - (1) Price-based (2) Volume-based and (3) Advance-decline-based.

Further, ASA introduces "Super-Oscillators", which are able to generate instant signals, faster than the original oscillators.

The advance-decline-based oscillators can change base to advance-decline of a particular industry or group. You can have A/D ratios for Sensex group, A Group, B1 group, etc. separately. More than 400 such groups are pre-defined in the package for your ready use.

Huge Data-base of News Clippings & Financial Results
Besides the technical analysis, the package has a good amount of fundamental information giving more than ten periods of financial results for each of the companies.

Further, ASA includes a data-base of news clippings from various newspapers/magazines, which are arranged chronologically, separately for each of the company.

These data-bases of fundamental information are updated on daily basis by the ASA team. The companies are neatly classified into more than 100 industry groups, and the industry-wise information can be seen separately.

Index Generator
The Index Generator facility happens to be a unique feature of the package. The user can generate index of any set of stocks using his own base-date and weightages.

In addition, more than 250 ready-made indices are provided. These are defined for different industry groups, business houses, etc.

Dynamic Query Module
The Query module in ASA is exceedingly dynamic, fast and simple to use. It provides for user-definable query terms and report formats. There are more than 500 technical/fundamental terms to be used as criteria for short-listing the stocks. These terms can also be used as report columns. Besides, user may dynamically define any number of terms on his own, based on values, volumes, dates, periods, offsets, etc. to get the information required by him.

The user can also get shortlists based on more than 200 technical signals straightaway. For example, he can instantly shortlist stocks showing MACD cutting its trigger line or scrips having Dark Cloud Cover pattern on any query date.

At a time, 20 report columns with 20 short-listing conditions can be run simultaneously, combining Technical values and Technical signal with the Fundamental terms into one single query.

ASA even allows user to get shortlists based on news clipping, say searching for a particular product or word. There is also a Super-query module, which allows running of more than one query sets at a time. User can also get ranking of stocks, for example, on the basis of the value of RSI or EPS.

Pattern-Matching
The pattern-matching module of ASA allows user to save any part of a chart as pattern, so that a similar pattern may be automatically searched on other charts, with user-definable matching tolerance, if required.

Simulation Game
The Simulation Game lets the user to test his own technical skills under the real life scenario, by placing hypothetical buy\sell orders and optimising trading profits, through system testing. Two different players can play the same chart at the same time to see who makes bigger profits.

Portfolio
User can enter his Buy/sell transaction and see the same marked on the chart itself. He can also calculate potential profits and portfolio valuation on any date.

Print Options
The charts can be printed off-line, where printing goes on even while one is using the package. The chart can also be printed in GIF formats for DTP/internet use. The Consultancy Report module brings out chart (along with analysis), comments, financial results and news components out for the printer as a finely arranged pre-formatted report.

Hardware requirements
It's a huge package occupying around 1 GB on the hard disk. Except the hard disk limitation, the other computer configuration could be anything. For example, the package could run comfortably even on an XT with a CGA monitor and 1MB RAM. A higher configuration will, however, enhance the performance. For a color monitor, for example, ASA allows user to set more than 200000 shades of colors for different components on the screen.

Daily Updating
The daily price\volume\news\results data will be mailed to your e-mail ID everyday by us. The same can also be picked up on ASA's 24-hour modem service.

Cost
At a basic price of Rs.25000 only (including the first year’s annual update charges of Rs.5000), ASA is no doubt the best value for money. LAN version (5 nodes) is priced at Rs.45,000 (37,000 + 8,000).
