One of the worst things you can do is follow what you read in the paper. Imagine a powerful newspaper tycoon at the country club with other powerful business leaders. Now imagine an off handed conversation abouts sell some company stock but at a high price. Now further imagine news story being read by 1000s of guys like you about how wonderful this stock is performing. 2 things happen. 1 everyone who wants to get rich quick and trades with emotions buys and borrows to buy. 2 Big business magnate and friends sell stock a t a good price. Then report they have sold 1 month later. Dont follow the paper you will get killed.

aishwarya,

follow dev and gain in mid term trading, as a hedge you could check if any of the insurance companies started providing insurance against foolishness. if you gain here you can forego the insurance premium, in the unlikely event of losing here , you can claim your insurance.

oxy advice is better one

Go though some of my recommendations....

42% return in 23 days

http://www.vfmdirect.com/forums/show...113#1187109135

30% gain in 9 trading days

http://www.vfmdirect.com/forums/show...626#1178614010

Upto 50% gain in one month

http://www.traderji.com/equities/137...ing-calls.html

15% return in 5 days

http://www.traderji.com/stocks-share...vs-motors.html

25% return in 2 months

http://www.vfmdirect.com/forums/show...702#1181928780

More than 50% return in three months

http://www.vfmdirect.com/forums/show...369#1183845256

These are some examples only....And also in Cash segments, If somebody is having enough money and able to trade in F&O the returns could have been more than 1000%

If u guys want I can post hundred examples

These are not an example of manipulating stocks/making upper circuits regularly & where trading position was possible...

Rao garu, I think these are enough reasons to take back ur comments.

gud luck

concept on intraday,
...it is a difficult trade proposition...
first of all ..why u want to intraday trade?
......is it hobby ....or to earn...
what is ur execution system.........why to buy or sell ...
market sentiment+yesterday close biasness...
do u know really any new event...not reflected in price already?
what is ur personal bias on market...do u believe price supreme...
.......unless technically strong ,mathematically inclined...and can scan real time...with thrust
......its an illusion........one will only lose money..........but...with right attitude..
and proficiency its a lucrative business
.............

Hey Dev,

Lets see some of you losses. I cant imagine being as sucessful as you claim and not being a multi millionaire and wasting time in a retail forum instead of sitting in your yacht. If your going to brag about your performance let's see total performance instead of the best picks.
